Abstract

PURPOSE: To adapt the equipment to copper plate production as well by providing a molten metal dam consisting of a front dam plate, a rear dam plate, and right and left side dam plates connecting both side end parts thereof to the part right above the part between a pair of casting rolls thereby preventing the leakage of molten metal in both side directions.
