Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the information which has undergone correction of deviations such as rotative movement and parallel movement of images with a simple arithmetic circuit based on the values obtained by detecting the coordinates at four corners of an orignal by coating a platen cover black and or whiter than a white original. CONSTITUTION:The originals placed on the platen are successively read and are stored into the 1st memory 30. The coordinates of this time are formed by clock signals in a coordinate arithmetic circuit 9 and are applied simultaneously to the 1st memory 30. Since the platen cover is coated to a white color that can be discriminated from the white level of the paper surface or is coated black over the entire surface, the white signal of the paper surface may be easily separated. The coordinate values 48 of a four corner coordinate detecting circuit 10 are supplied to a rotative coordinate operating circuit 8. Next, the coordinate values of the circuit 9 are successively carried from the initial values by a timing generating circuit 7, and the image signals are read out from the 1st memory 30; at the same time, the new coordiates 49 after the position correction calculated by the circuit 8 are applied to the 2nd memory 31, whereby the images are rotatively and parallel moved, and the correctly position-corrected image signals may be stored in the 2nd memory 31.
