Abstract
PURPOSE:To automatically locate the core to the processing main axis, stabilize the processing quality and economize energy, by locating and adjusting the core by means of the number of pulses according to the output of the detection circuit for the shift extent of position of the core image and the reference mark. CONSTITUTION:A video signal from the image pickup device 10 is made binary by the binary circuit 21. A point where white a black are inverted is detected as the edge by the edge detection circuit 23, and the number of scanning lines and the number of clocks at the time when the edge has been detected are stored in the circuit 27 as the X and Y coordinates of the edge through the clock counter 25, etc. The mean value of its maximum value and minimum value is calculated as the center coordinate of the core from said X and Y coordinates by the arithmetic circuit 28. The reference mark is also calculated in the same way as to its center coordinate, and the difference between both is sent to the driving circuit 30 as the shift extent. The circuit 30 drives the pulse motors 6, 7 by the number of pulses according to the shift, and automatically locates the core on the rotary axis. In this way, th processing quality is stabilized and the energy is economized.
