Abstract
PURPOSE:To uniformly and sufficiently cool the end portion of a pressure indicator and perform accurate measurement, by replacing the cooling water circulating cooling system with the evaporative cooling system and obtaining a large surface area at the upper rear end portion of the cooling adapter for performing cooling. CONSTITUTION:On the upper end side of a pressure indicator main body 11, a closed chamber 13 and a cooling medium cooling chamber 16 are provided through a partition wall 15. Into the cooling medium cooling chamber 16, cooling water as a secondary cooling medium is made to flow through a water inlet 17 in order to cool through the partition wall 15 the vapor of a cooling medium 14 in the closed chamber 13 and discharged through a water outlet 18. The evaporative cooling medium 14, e.g., water, receives the heat in the combustion chamber, evaporates and rises in the closed chamber 13, where the medium 14 is cooled by its circumference and changed back into water to drop to the lower part, where the water is heated again to evaporate. Repetition of such a cycle effectively cools the end portion of the pressure indicator 11.
