Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure a high electric conductivity and high accuracy of measurements, by forming the anode into a cladding bar containing Cu and Ti in its core and surface each and then the cathode into a cladding bar containing Cu and the stainless steel in its core and surface respectively and then putting these bars together.
CONSTITUTION: The anode is produced through an arc welding given between the multiplex electric conduction plate which is formed by inserting a belt-shaped Ti bar having the same width as the Ti electrode plate between one ends of the laminated Ti anode plates and then giving a diffusive welding between them and the multiplex electric conduction plate which is formed by attaching the Ti component to the Cr-plated Cr bar with a diffusive welding. On the other hand, the cathode is obtained by giving an arc welding between the multiplex electric conduction plate formed by inserting a belt-shaped stainless steel bar having the same width as the stainless steel cathode plate between one ends of the laminated stainless steel cathode plates and the electric conduction bar formed by fitting the stainless steel material to the Cu bar with diffusive welding. After this, such anode and cathode are put together to obtain an electrolytic electrode.
