Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an Al plate steel sheet with remarkably improved heat resistance, especially oxidation resistance at high temp. by hot rolling a steel contg. a predetermined percentage each of C, Cr, Mn, Si, Al, etc. following by picking, cold rolling, annealing and Al hot dipping.
CONSTITUTION: This Al plated steel sheet consists of 0.001W0.02% C, 0.01W5% Cr, 0.05W1.0% Mn, 0.04W2.0% Si, 0.01W0.10% Al, ≤0.10% N, 0.2W0.6% Ti and the balance essentially Fe. The ratio of Ti/(C+N) in the composition is essentially adjusted to ≥20, impurity elements are fixed, and solid dissolved Ti is allowed to exist. It is generally required to prevent the workability of the sheet from lowering by restricting inevitably contained P and S to ≤0.04% each. This sheet is improved in corrosion resistance as well as wear resistance.
