PURPOSE:To reduce the weight and size of the 3-phase reactor by determining the width of an iron core to an optimum size from the magnetic flux distribution in an upper and lower iron cores, side iron cores and an interphases iron core. CONSTITUTION:The upper and lower iron core 4 and 5 are disposed between the upper part and the lower part of windings 1-3, and side iron core 6 and interphase iron core 7 are provided between the upper iron core 4 and the lower iron core 5.
