Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce core loss by a method wherein iron core legs on which wires are wound are of silicon steel sheets and the rest of iron cores are of alloy sheets of amophous substance. In addition to this, sectional areas of iron cores of amorphous alloy sheets are to be bigger than those of iron cores consisting of silicon steel sheets. CONSTITUTION:Both upper and lower iron core yoke sections 1, 2 are of laminated construction of alloy sheets of amorphous substance which is of less core loss, which legs on both sides and an iron core leg at the center 3, 4, 5 on which wires are wound are of laminated construction of silicon steel sheets which are of more core loss than the amorphous substance but are of highter saturated magnetic flux density. Both the upper and lower iron core yoke sections 1, 2 are formed with a group of a first alloy sheets 6, L in length and W1 in width and a group of a second alloy sheets 7, L in length and W2 in width, by laying one type of alloy sheet on the other type alternatly. For the iron core legs on both sides 3, 4 and the iron core leg at the center 5, a specified number of steel sheets 8, H in length and W3 in width are piled in layers and are inserted between core sheets of the upper iron core yoke section 1 and the lower iron core yoke section 2 at their edges. Moreover, sectional areas of the iron core yoke sections 1, 2 are to be bigger than those of the iron core legs 3, 4, 5.
