Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of noxious components of exhaust gas at the time of deceleration and at the same time to attain stability of engine operation, by varying the upper limit value or lower limit value for determining the tolerable range of fuel injecting time width in respone to a signal indicating flow rate of intake air of a signal indicating the revolutional speed of engine.
CONSTITUTION: Outputs produced from electromagnetic pickup 64W66 along with rotation of crank shaft of engine are sent to microcomputer 5. Fuel from fuel tank 7 is supplied under pressure to distributor 9 by means of fuel pump 8 and then to injection valves 10 fixed at the position of intake pipe of respective cylinders. When solenoid 11 incorporated in injector 10 is energized by an electric signal from microcomputor 5, needle valve 12 is lifted and fuel is injected from the injection valve.
