Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the device possible to generate direct current voltage manually, by forming the constitution so as to rectify the output of manual generator to accumulate the same in a capacitor and connect both ends of this condenser with the element whose resistance value increases and decreases in a non-linear way in correspondence with the increase and decrease of impressed voltage.
CONSTITUTION: AC output is obtained by rotating armature or field system of self-excited synchronous generator 1 manually by using handle 2. The output is accumulated in capacitor 4 after being converted into direct current through rectifying diode 3 and constant-voltage diode 5. Between both ends of capacitor 4 are connected resistance 6 and n-channel depression type FET7, while the gate of FET7 is connected with the low-potential side. Since the resistance between the drain and the source of FET7 is dependent on the voltage between the two non-linearly, the current between the drain and the source when condenser 4 is discharged becomes almost uniform. If necessary, diode 8 for preventing reverse current is provided.
