Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the characteristics equal to those obtained by using a germanium diode, by giving the full-wave rectification to an input through a linear wave detecting circuit and a rectifying circuit using a silicon diode respectively. CONSTITUTION:The input signal is supplied to a half-wave linear wave detecting circuit 2 using the silicon diodes D11 and D12. The half-wave linear wave detecting output of negative polarity which is delivered from the circuit 2 is supplied to a rectifying circuit 3 using the silicon diodes D13 and D14. The input signal is also applied to the circuit 3, and accordingly the rectifier 3 produces a signal corresponding to the absolute value of the input signal and rectifying the signal to deliver a full-wave rectifying signal. This output is integrated by a resistance 4 and a capacitor 5 to be turned into a control signal. In such constitution of a circuit, the excellent characteristics can be obtained by means of a silicon diode like the use of a germanium diode.
