Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize a connection between a diaphragm and voice coil bobbin by effectively reinforcing the skin layer of the diaphragm where the voice coil bobbin is connected. CONSTITUTION:A speaker structured so that voice coil bobbin 7 will be connected to back skin layer 4 of diaphragm 1 direct or via a bobbin cap uses reinforcing layer 12 larger than the diameter of bobbin 7 and between back skin layer 4 and core 2, this reinforcing layer 12 is interposed being nearly coaxial with bobbin 7 to reinforce back skin layer 4 of partially-double-layer structure. In this case, reinforcing layer 12 may be connected to back reinforced layer 4 either by adhesive layer 6 or by welding.
