Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the subject method comprising the steps of; combining divided cut cores and bonding the peripheral parts of cut surfaces to form a unitary body whereby a core clamping band can be omitted and a transformer stable in magnetization characteristic can be manufactured readily.
CONSTITUTION: At both ends of one 1a of cut cores divided in two parts there are fitted cylindrical bodies 5. Each of these cylindrical bodies 5 encircles the peripheries of the core cut surfaces, and can be fastened and sealed to the cut core 1a by the cylindrical 5 itself or a sealing material 51, thus having a structure where the core bonding resin is not wet. Thereafter, a separately wound coil 2 is fitted in the cut core 1a, and another part 1b of the cut core is bonded to the cut core 1a at their cut surfaces, and both cut cores are combined together thereby to bond the cut cores 1a and 1b are bonded together to form an integral body by a core bonding resin 6.
