Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce low the power consumption of a crystal oscillation circuit and also to stabilize high it by forming a fixed circuit by using SIT. CONSTITUTION:Capacitor C1 is connected between the gate and source of SITT1 operating in the forward direction to the gate, capacitor C2 is interposed between the source and earth, and crystal vibrator Q is further connected between the gate and earth. Then, resistance R1 is connected between power voltage VDD and the gate, and NPN transistor T2 connected to the power voltage at its base is connected between the source and earth. The amplification part of a crystal oscillation circuit formed in this way is composed of SITT1, NPN transistor T2 and resistance R1, and the oscillation circuit is of the Colpitts type using capacitors C1 and C2. Consequently, since its power voltage can be reduced low through characteristics of SIT, the power consumption of the oscillation circuit can be reduced and at the same time, its oscillation frequency can be stabilized.
