Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve both the spurious and cross modulation characteristics by reducing the oscillation amplitude which is applied to the variable capacity diode. CONSTITUTION:The common emitter of the differential amplifier consisting of transistors 11 and 12 is connected to constant current source 13. At the same time, the collector of transistor 11 is connected to the base of transistor 12 through resistance 17 along with connection of the collector of transistor 12 to the base of transistor 11 through resistance 16 each. Thus the positive feedback loop is formed. In addition, the parallel resonance circuit comprising resonance coil 18, coupling capacitor 20, bypass capacitors 19 and 20 plus variable capacity diode 21 is connected to the bases of transistors 11 and 12. Thus the frequency of the oscillation voltage generated at terminal C is decided by the resonance frequency.
