Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a small-sized rotor with less moment of inertia and with a structure of less assembling processes by joining the rotor magnet to the rotor shaft through a layer of soft alloy with a relatively low melting point.
CONSTITUTION: The soft metal film 5 with a relatively low melting point such as solder is evaporated onto either of the center hole 4a of rotor magnet 4 and the joining face between the rotor shaft 6 and the center hole 4a of rotor magnet, for example, the inner projection of the center hole 4a of the rotor magnet 4. On the other hand, the metal film 7 such as gold capable of sticking the soft metal film 5 is plated on the joining face of the rotor shaft. The outer circumference 4b of the rotor magnet 4 and the rotor shaft 6 are coaxially located and placed in the work plate 8 as they are, the two in the state wherein the rotor shaft 6 is inserted into the rotor magnet 4 are heated, both the metal films 5, 7 are melted and attached to each other to join the rotor shaft with the rotor magnet.
