Abstract

PURPOSE: To atomize fuel by diffusing the jet steam of fuel by charging fuel with electricity by application of high voltage to fuel injected from the fuel injection valve of an internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: The fuel injection valve 8 is provided by turning it toward the direction of the suction valve 9 provided at the tip of the suction port 7 and the injection valve 8 is tipped with the hollow and cylindrical insulator 10 the inside of which is provided with the electrode 11 electrically connected to the high voltage generator 15. A high voltage from the generator 15 is applied to the secondary current of an ignitor not illustrated in Fig. to charge fuel injected from the injection valve 8 with the same minus charge as the suction pipe 13. Thus, the fuel injected is diffused to all directions by means of a repulsion against the suction pipe 13, whereby causing the atomizing of fuel to take place.
