Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve combustibility in the combustion chamber by activating a suction air mixture in the internal combustion engine by passing the air in the discharge electric field.
CONSTITUTION: An air cleaner 9 and a carburetor 7 are provided in the suction passage 6 of the engine 1 to form mixed air. Also, a discharge device 8 which generates high voltage is provided between the carburetor 7 and the engine 1 to apply a high voltage to the mixed air that passes through the area to generate ozone. Said air with strong oxidizing action is concentrated around the ignition plug in the combustion chamber 3 so that combustion can smoothly takes place.
