Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable zero point calibration at the time of measuring tanδ of impedanceby A/D converter converting the detected voltage and standard voltage using high speed converter and processing them.
CONSTITUTION: The standard voltage and the detected voltage made thru the standard resistor 2 and the resistor 5 of the impedance 4 to be measured are digitally converted at the high speed converters 21B. 21A to be switched by the interlocking switches 22B and 22D, 22A and 22C which synchronize with the clock of the clock generator 8, and are temporarily stored at the latch circuits 23D. 23C which connect with latch circuit 23C. 23A and zero calibration contact point b.... When the latch contents of the circuits 23C and 23D, 23A and 23B coincide, digital standard voltage and detected voltage (both finishing zero calibration) are outputted from the comparison circuits 24B. 24A; pulses, width thereof corresponds to the difference at the time when the two voltages become zero are generated from the time difference detection circuit 25; and tanδ corresponding to the phase difference the electric current flowing from the clock counter 10 thru the impedance 4 is calculated while being zero calibrated at the time of measurement. Accordingly, the abovementioned system enables the measurement of high accuracy free from the influence of temperature and drift.
