Abstract

PURPOSE: To circulate a proper amount of exhaust gas according to the amount of air by providing an exhaust gas valve in an exhaust gas recirculating path through which part of exhaust gas is recycled to the air inlet system and also by interlocking an air inlet throttle valve responding to the amount of air with the exhaust gas throttle valve.
CONSTITUTION: The air inlet path 10 is connected with the recirculating path 11 for exhaust gas, connected to an exhaust gas path not shown in Fig., and at the connection portion, the valve seat 12 and the valve port 13 are formed and also the exhaust gas throttle valve 16 fixed to the valve rod 17 is arranged in freely touchable manner to the valve seat 12. Furthermore, the valve seat 15 is formed nearer the air inlet path 10 than the valve port 13, and the air inlet throttle valve 26 with the seal 27 is arranged at the valve seat 15. And, both valves 16 and 26 are interlocked through the driving arm 28 and the coupling rod 29 and also set up so as to reduce the other opening degree when the one opening degree is increased.
