Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the disorder of arrangement by a mechanism wherein layers obtained by juxtaposing hard steel wires coated with rubber in parallel every the same number are continuously formed and the hard steel wires of the layers at the center side are made up in shapes that are flatter that the ones of the layers at the outside to ensure that the more the layers advance to the intermediate side the wider the width becomes.
CONSTITUTION: A bead wire 1 is built up in such a manner that three hard steel wires W1, W2, W3 are arranged in parallel, pulled out, covered with rubber and continuously laminated and wound on an outer circumferential surface of a winding former. The first layer T1 is formed by disposing hard steel wires W1, W2, W3 with circular sections in parallel, the second layer T2 and third layer T3 are made up by a mechanism wherein hard steel wires W1, W2, W3 are pushed in the up-and-down directions so that the two layers become wider than the first layer in width and the layers T2, T3 are arranged in parallel in approximately flat surfaces that parallel portions with the desired length are oppositely mounted to up-and-down both surfaces, and the fourth layer T4 is built up by juxtaposing hard steel wires W1, W2, W3 with the circular sections in parallel in the same way as the first layer T1. According to such constitution, the disorder of the arrangement of the hard steel wires is prevented.
