Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a processing load with program logic simplified by making a central controller classify information on a controlled channel unit and store it in a transmitting buffer temporarily and then by transferring it to another central controller via an information transfer unit after a certain time.
CONSTITUTION: In-use central controller CC0 processes information inputted from channel controller SPC0 and sends needed information to stand-by system S1 via information transfer units T0 and T1. Central controller CC1 of system S1 receives information transferred from in-use system S0 and then stores it in main memory unit MM1. Once a trouble occurs to in-use system S0, an emergency control circuit starts operating and under the control of this, an in-use/stand-by alternation is made, so that system S1 as a stand-by unit will restart the operation of channel controller SPC1 by information stored in unit MM1. In this case, Units CC0 and CC1 operate asynchronously by independent clocks.
