Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a high speed recording and an elongation of life of the head by forming an electric insulating layer on a base substance by a melting method and arranging a thermal resistance layer on the insulating layer. CONSTITUTION:Heat-proof electric insulating melt injection cover film 14 made of alumina, ziroconia, chromium oxide etc. is formed by a melt injection process on a metal base plate 13 having a thickness of 1-3mm. A smooth layer 15 of Al2O3, SiO2 etc., a thermal resistance layer 16 made of nitride tantalum etc. and output electric poles 17 and 17' made of gold, gold-chromium etc. are arranged and an anti- wear layer 18 made of a single layer or a composite layer of Ta2O5, SiO2 etc. is arranged therein.
