Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve impedance characteristics by forming an omission part and thick part in the dielectric of a coaxial line on a microstrip line and then by smoothing variation in electromagnetic-field distribustion between the both. CONSTITUTION:Microstrip line 11 is formed on dielectric board 12 and fixed on earth substrate 13. Center conductor 14 of a coaxial line is connected to microstrip line 11 by soldering, dielectric 15 of the coaxial line is provided with part 15a equal in thickness to omission part 15b, and metal cover 16 is provided over the connection part. Therefore, electromagnetic distribution around the connection part approximates to that of microstrip line 11 by omission part 15b and thick part 15a and varies smoothly between the both, so that impedance characteristics can be improved.
