Abstract

A device (30) for connecting a coaxial cable connector (10) to a printed circuit board (20) is formed from a flat metal plate (31) with tabs (40, 50). The cable connector (10) is fastened to the device (30) and extends through an opening (32) in the device so that the outer conductor (11) contacts the plate (31) while the inner conductor (13) extends through the opening (32). The tabs (40, 50) are attached to the ground pattern (22) of the circuit board (20) to hold the plate (31) at the edge of the circuit board with the inner conductor (13) in contact with the circuit pattern (21) of the circuit board.
