Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the detection sensitivity by means of two DC magnets arranged facing each other in the corresponding polarity by way of the test work.
CONSTITUTION: Coils 2 and 2' are excited in such a manner that magnet cores 1 and 1' faces each other in the corresponding polarity. The steel 4 is magnetized by magnets provided over and under it constituting the axis of symmetry. Thus, there will be a magnetic flux density almost equalized regardless of the thickness-wise direction. This allows the steel 4 to be magnetized evenly thereby improving the detection sensitivity remarkably.
