CONSTITUTION: Sludge from filtration plant, etc., is introduced through the pipe 1 into the concentrating tank 2 to concentrate the sludge and when more than fixed concentration of sludge is measured by the sludge densitometer 6, the sludge is sent to the treating tank 7. Also, the slant pipe 9 is provided through the return valve 10 between the densitometer 6 and the partition valve 11, and when less than fixed concentration of sludge is measured by the densitometer 6, the sludge is sent back to the concentrating tank 2 in the direction of the arrow mark 12, whereas when it exceeds the fixed concentration, the sludge is flowed down naturally by the head H to the treating tank 7 in the direction of the arrow mark 13.
