Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively utilize vaporization heat and stabilize the combustion of liquid fuel in a device for burning liquid fuel of rotary gasification type by obtaining expanded fuel particle sprinkling width and uniform sprinkling pattern.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid fuel supplied from a fuel supply port 12 is spread on the surface of a tapered rotor 11, simultaneously crept up on the rotor 11 by means of centrifugal force produced upon rotation of the rotor, sprinkled as fine particles from the periphery of a star-like rotor 13 to the inner surface of a heating column 14 to be thus instantaneously vaporized, and mixed with air to be burnt through a mixture gas passage port 16 at a flame port 17. The rotor 13 is constructed by uniformly dividing and arranging a plurality of sharpened ends 13a, 13b,...at the periphery of the body thereof and irregularly arranging uniformly the axes of the ends 13a, 13b,...simultaneously. According to this construction, the fine particles of liquid fuel are sprinkled over the inner surface of the column 14 with uniform sprinkling pattern with a simple construction.
