Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a random logical circuit of high speed and density, by providing a plurality of MOS transistors for loads in one cell of a master slice integrated circuit and making the source terminals of the transistors independent one another.
CONSTITUTION: One cell of a master slice integrated circuit comprises power lines VDD, VSS, driving MOS transistors T11WT14 and depletion-type MOS transistors D1, D2 for loads. A random circuit, which would need two load transistors for forming the circuit, can be made of the single cell. Therefore, the MOS transistors can be effectively used and the degree of integration of a chip is raised. The layout of the cell does not need to be changed when the MOS transistors for loads are coupled in parallel with one another. When a push-pull circuit is formed, a circuit of high load capacity can be also driven.
