Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the data featuring the minimum quantization error by converting the analog signal into the pulse of the frequency proportional to the scale of the input voltage for counting, memorizing the count value with every fixed time through the computer and then comparing the memorized value with the 1-time preceding data to integrate the deviation.
CONSTITUTION: The analog is applied to voltage-frequency converter 2 to be converted into the pulse of the frequency proportional to the scale of the input voltage and then counted by counter 3. Computer 5 reads the count value into the memory whthin the computer with every fixed time via input gate circuit 4 to compare it with the 1-time preceding data memorized. And the action calculating the difference is repeated by the fixed frequency, and the differential value is integrated to give the digitized output. Thus, the data featuring the minimum quantization error can be obtained through a simple constitution.
