Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce cycle time and improve productivity by forming a plurality of metal molds respectively independently openably and removably from a melting furnace.
CONSTITUTION: When pressure is applied to the inside of a melting furnace 1a, molten metal is poured from a nozzle part 2a to an upper mold 23 and lower mold 24. After a fixed time, it solidifies. The pressure in the melting furnace 1a is returned to the atmospheric pressure by operating an exhaust valve after the solidification and at the same time, a piston rod 14a is operated leftward by operating a hydraulic cylinder 13a. A stanchion 9a turns about a pin 11a as a fulcrum and tilts in the direction of a shaft 7, thereby turning and tilting the entire part of a metal mold supporting opening-closing device 4a. Hence, the lower metal mold 24 detaches from the nozzle part 2a of the melting furnace 1a. Thereupon, the entire part of the metal mold supporting opening-closing device 4a is slewed 120° and is shifted to the position of the metal supporting opening-closing device 4b before the slewing. In the same manner, the metal supporting opening-closing device 4b is shifted to the position of the same 4c and the same 4c to the position of the same 4a, respectively.
