Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to feed a current direct from a transistor amplifier without using an impedance matching box by forming a piezoelectric bimorph by combining multi-layer laminations, of high-molecular piezoelectric films with electrodes on both surfaces, to both surfaces of an interposing material. CONSTITUTION:Multi-layer laminations of high-molecular piezoelectric films 12 with electrodes 10 and 11 on both surfaces are made in one with interposing material 13 between the both and the polarization direction of each film 12 is made different alternately to constitute a piezoelectric bimorph. Then, electrodes 10 and 11 are applied with input signal respectively. In the center of the top surface of the piezoelectric bimorph of this constitution, a diaphragm is connected and the whole body is incorporated in a frame to obtain a piezoelectric speaker. This piezoelectric speaker is small in the impedance of the piezoelectric bimorph, which is close to that of a dynamic speaker, so that power can be fed from a transistor amplifier directly.
