Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the maintenance and inspection of a system effective by enabling a detection circuit for signal variation to decide upon whether abnormality of a serial transmission line is a trouble in a station or of the transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A station consists of receiver circuit 9 shaping input signals, clock generation part 10 extracting clocks from its output, control part 11 connecting to CPU, and transmitter circuit 12 sending its output signal out, and detection parts 13 and 14 exercise a supervision over variation time of input signals and output signals. If a signal would not vary for longer than a certain time, lamp 15 or 16 is made to come on. Here, when lamp 15 comes on the trouble of the transmission line is considered and when lamp 15 goes off and lamp 16 comes on, a trouble between the both is considered, so that it will be judged whether the trouble is occurring on the transmission line or in the station.
