Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive cooler having less trouble by forming a dual- system compressor drive circuit in which a temperature control circuit is connected to a relay controlled by the output of a defrosting circuit and so connecting temperature detectors in the respective systems as to be capable of switching to both circuits. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 9a is closed, a compressor 2a is driven to operate a cooling cycle of only right side. At this time a relay 12 is switched by a contact 13, the output side of a temperature control circuit 10 is connected to a realy 5a, and the relay 5a is controlled by the output from the circuit 10. The relay coil 21 of a relay 18 is energized to be switched to a temperature detector THa side to thereby control at this temperature the cooling cycle. Similarly, a left side cooling cycle is controlled by a temperature detector THb upon closure of a switch 9b. When both switches 9a, 9b are simultaneously closed, the right side is controlled by the circuit 10, and the left side is controlled by the operation of the relay 12 via a defrosting circuit 11.
