Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent charging of brush inside by friction and facilitate removal of residual toner, by making the core body of cleaning brush with conductive material and communicating into the earth part of an electrophotographic device. CONSTITUTION:A core body 11 of a brush 10 is made of a conductive material, such as metal and carbon paper, and a woven fabric 12 made of conductive base fabric such as carbon fiber and stainless steel fiber is glued to the core body 11 with a conductive adhesive 13. A conductive material may be a material given conductive treatment with paint containing carbon or the like, that is, any material which can maintain the conductivity of the cleaning brush 10 will do. Since the brush is earthed, frictional static electricity occurring in the brush is not accumulated and removal of residual toner will be easy, so that an excellent cleaning effect may be obtained.
