Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the operation at changing analyzing items and system in a colorimetry analyzer by reading the content of an identifier added with a monochromatic filter of a light source and automatically controlling the detecting sensitivity and measuring system thereof by the signal from the reader. CONSTITUTION:A filter 23 is prepared by providing a marker (such as, for example, a four-bit information identifier depending upon the existence of specified four through hole positions) 23c at one end of a filter holder 23b for supporting a filter body 23a. A detector 2 is formed by an optical system 21, a flow cell 22, the filter 23, a marker detector 24, a measuring detector 25, and a detecting amplifier 26, etc. to pass desired monochromatic light through the filter 23 from the light source 1 through the flow cell 22 to thus detect it by the detector 25. A main controller 3 is operated on the basis of the information from the marker 23c of the flow cell 22 as detected by the detector 24 to thereby control the amplifier 26 through a gain regulator 27 by the output therefrom so as to execute an adequate colorimetry analysis.
