Abstract
PURPOSE: To measure the concentration of suspension with good accuracy, by setting the concentration and ultrasonic wave attenuation performance corresponding to the residual as the result of strong heating in the dry content of suspension in advance, in measuring the concentration of suspension through the use of ultrasonic waves.
CONSTITUTION: In detecting the concentration of suspension with the signal corresponding to the attenuation of ultrasonic waves in the suspension, the suspension is analyzed and the rate of residual after strong heating in dry content is detected, and the concentration of suspension such as dirt muddy water can be measured with high accuracy, by selectively setting the concentration versus ultrasonic wave attenuation performance depending on the rate. For example, the pulse attenuated with the suspension 1 enters the receiver 4, and the reception signal is fed to the main control section 8. The main control section 8 supplies control signal to the variable attenuator 6 in which the preset value and the output of the amplifying section 7 are equal, and the output signal corresponding to it is fed to the display section 10.
