Abstract
PURPOSE:To always ensure the steady reproduction of the carrier wave by preventing the shift of the stability poing of the loop in the period of a small carrier-noise ratio C/N, and thus to reduce the bit error rate of the demodulation data in the coherent detection. CONSTITUTION:With application of digital phase modulation signal PSK wave (a), the carrier wave is reproduced through voltage control type oscillator VCO15. And demodulation data (b) is obtained from modulator MOD16. The demodulation data is supplied to clock reproduction circuit 18 to reproduce clock (c) and then supplies the clock to sampling control circuit 14 to produce the sampling control signal like (d). The sampling action of sampling hold circuit SH13 is blocked while the control signal is kept at the L level, i.e., the C/N of the PSK wave is small. Then the output of LPF12 obtained in the period of a large C/N is held and then applied to VCO15. As a result, the noise gives no effect to the control voltage of VCO15 even for noise (e) of the PSK wave in the period of a samll C/N.
