Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of heating by assemblying an auxiliary heat source which can be shifted to move without a block against current wind through a passage. CONSTITUTION:While cooling water of an engine is cool in warming-up, an upright-and-laying-down control mechanism makes a positive characteristic termistor 5 of an auxiliary heat source stand upright to block air current. Simultanously, the positive characteristic thermistor 5 is charged to heat air. Hot air resulting is blasted through a defroster duct 7 and heat duct 8 against a window glass and into the interior of a car. When the engine and cooling water is heated sufficiently, the thermistor operating switch 25 is turned off to stop heating of the positive characteristic thermistor 5. The upright-and-laying-down control mechanism lays the thermistor 5 to store in a cavity 15 for free air passing. Cooling water heated sufficiently actuates a heater core 3 which heats air.
