Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a high-accuracy color signal in an extremely simple way by inverting the polarity of the sample value of the multiplied signal with every sample, making even the coefficients to be multiplied by the color signals to the same polarity and then making these signal pass through the LPF.
CONSTITUTION: The color TV signal multiplied and to be supplied to terminal 13 is stored in frame memory 15 after the waveform shaping given by resampler 14. The signal read out from memory 15 is branched with the polarity inverted by inverter 18. Then switch 19 is switched every sample value, and then the sample is drawn out one by one and alternately from the signal just read out from memory 15 and its reversed signal. The luminance signal component is eliminated from the output through LPF20 to obtain the color signal. However, for the output of the LPF, only one kind of color signal is obtained alternately and with every 2nd line.
