Abstract

PURPOSE: To control rising of current of a load circuit, by dividing a DC circuit breaker into a given number of steps to be connected in series, turning them into a module form and changing voltage generated on a coil while switching in turn time constant regulating resistance by thus modulated DC circuit breaker.
CONSTITUTION: A changeover switch 3 is turned on to side a, and an energy- accumulating coil 9 is excited by a power source 1. When main thyristers 23 through 25 are ignited, a current 18 of the coil flows through the main thyristers 23 through 25. And as the current passing through the changeover switch 3 then becomes zero, the changeover switch 3 becomes opened.
