Abstract

PURPOSE: To mold a bag raw material into a form of a gap formed by a upper mold, a lower mold and a core, to heat the molds and the core to vulcanize the bag raw material thereby to manufacture a pot-shaped bag free of thickness variation and having a good quality.
CONSTITUTION: A lower mold 13 having a recessed part of the same configuration as that of the lower outer side of a bag 10, an upper mold having a recessed part of the same configuration as that of the upper outer side of the bag 10, and a core 17 of the same configuration as that of the inner side of the bag 10. The core 17 is fitted in the recessed part 14 of the lower mold 13, and the bag raw material is molded into the shape of a gap formed by the upper mold 6, lower mold 13 and core 17. Then, steam is fed to fluid passageways 9 and 15 of the molds and the hollow part of the core to heat the upper mold 6, lower mold 13 and core 17 and vulcanize the formed raw material. A pot-shaped rubber bag in which the opening is narrower than the maximum diameter part of the cylindrical part can be manufactured by one step without causing no variation in thickness.
