Abstract

CONSTITUTION:Rubber-compound 5 formed in a bar-like shape by previously kneading rubber, filler and bridging material is supplied to a hopper 3 of an extruding machine 2 and led to a metallic mold 4. Inside the mold 4, processed fiber 1, to be the basic of an endless friction material, is arranged in the core area and its periphery is coated with the rubber-compound 5 to form a covering material 6 of the processed fiber.
