Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically prevent a dew-falling on a glass surface, by operating a heater when tarnish on a glass is detected in such a method as detects a temperature difference happened due to the falling of dews on a glass surface.
CONSTITUTION: A thirmister 9 in a paste, wiring, and lead-out electrodes 10 are formed by printing on an indoor surface of a glass 6, a thirmister being produced as a result of said work being sintered. Meanwhile, a heating wire 7 and lead-out electrodes 8 are provided at the inside of the glass 6 to form a heater. A potential dividing circuit conprises a resistance Rs of the thirmister and a fixed resistance Ro, a glass surface temperature being converted into a voltage signal thereat. The signal is then supplied via an amplifying circuit 1 and a sampling hold circuit 2 to an operation amplifying circuit 3 whereat changes in the amount at intervals of a given time are detected. Afterwards, a voltage comparing circuit 4 compares said changes in the amount with a reference voltage established in proportion to the rise in temperature due to the falling of dews on the glass surface, its decision output being applied as a set input of a flip-flop circuit 5.
