Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the temperature rise in the core and to keep the performance of magnetic head in excellent manner, by externally dissipating the heat produced in the head, through the formation of magnetic head produced in the head, through the formation of magnetic head being placed in close contact with the thermal conduction section inside of the ring shaped core. CONSTITUTION:In the magnetic head consisting of the core 4 in ring shape having the magnetic gap 2 and winding the coil 3 and the core support 1 having the thermal conduction section(core bottom holder 1a and core inner surface hold section 1b), the bottom and inner surface 4a and 4b of the core 4 are opposed to the core bottom holder 1a and core inner surface holder 1b of the core support 1 in contact (state of contact about 0.5mm or less), and the core 4 and the said thermal conduction section are fixed by putting in adhesives to the groove 1c. In the above constitution, the core support 1 is formed by using the material high in thermal conductivity such as metal, glass and ceramic, and the heat produced in the core 4 is delivered and dissipated to the core support 1 via the said thermal conduction section.
