Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a heat accumulator which can effectively retrive the heat from a heat source remarkably varying and separately move heats from respective heat accumulation tanks in response to utility by forming a plurality of heat accumulating units of different heat capacities in a heat accumulating tank.
CONSTITUTION: A heat accumulating tank 2 has a plurality of chambers 4W7 in a heat insulating material 3, in which heat accumulating materials A1WA4 having larger heat capacities sequentially from the left end chamber 4 toward the right side materials per unit volume are filled to thus form one high temperature heat accumulating unit H and three high temperature heat accumulating units L1WL3, which are connected through respective heat pipes 8 to a conduit 1. Since four heat accumulating units H, L1WL3 are provided in the tank 2, the unit H can be retained at high heat accumulating temperature T2, and the units L1WL3 can be retained at low heat accumulating temperature T1 to thereby effectively retrieve the heat energy from the heat source varying remarkably.
