Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the driving power of fluid by composing an approximately circular heat accumulator of the medium made of compound having a melting point of predetermined temperature range to be filled in a sheath and of the sheath having a softenining point of higher than 90°C, thereby simplifying the facility structure.
CONSTITUTION: A sheath 1 made of material having a softening point of higher than 90°C is formed in spherical shape, a compound having a melting point in the temperature range of -20W90°C such as, for example, calcium chloride or the like is filled as a medium 2 in the sheath 1, and a plug 3 is sealed in an inlet port, thereby obtaining a heat accumulating unit (a). A heat accumulator A is composed of many heat accumulating units (a) and has an inlet port 4 and an outlet port 5 for passing the fluid such as water. Since the shape of the unit (a) is formed in spherical shape or similar shape in this matter, the accumulator A has high strength and does not need partition plates or a trestle, thereby reducing the pressure loss of the fluid. Further, the driving force of the fluid is reduced to simplify the overall facility structure.
