Abstract

PURPOSE: To surely seal up oil smoke, by supplying air to the pressure reducing chamber of a labyrinth member on the sealed-up part of a shaft by fin provided on a rotary shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A fin casing 15 is directly coupled with a labyrinth member 6 for sealing up an oil tank cover 5 and a main shaft 1. The top of the fin casing 15 is sealed up by a seal plate 7. A fin 14 is fixed on the main shaft 1 inside the fin casing 15. Air is caused by the rotation of the shaft to flow at 10. As a result, oil smoke produced in an oil tank 4 is caused to flow at 11. The oil smoke is discharged through an exhaust pipe 12. The oil and air are separated from each other by an oil smoke separator 13. Only the air is released into the atmosphere. A wire net 16 for removing ducts is provided on the suction port of the fin casing 15.
