Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent clogging with sand by installing a cyclone apparatus on the lowermost part of a submerged motor pump for well and separating the sand contained in the sucked water by the cyclone apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A cyclone type sand taking-out apparatus is composed of an inside cylinder 26 and a cyclone case 34, and the inside cylinder 26 is consisting of the flange part 28 and the water gathering part 30 which makes the water to pass from the center part inside the cyclone case 34. The outer periphery of the flange part 28 seals the inner surface of the casing of a well by means of a packing 40. The absorbed water and sand pass between the outer periphery of the cyclone case 34 and the inner periphery of the casing of the well and go into the cyclone case 34 from a water intake port. The water intake port has a shape of nozzle, and water is sucked-up from the water gathering part and only sand is taken into the cyclone case 34 because of cyclone effect, thus clogging with sand can be prevented.
