Abstract
PURPOSE:To positively prevent over-revolution, by mounting an over-revolution preventive circuit that suddenly delays ignition timing from some speed of revolution slightly exceeding regular use revolution ranges and continuously delays the ignition timing in proportion to the speed of revolution after that. CONSTITUTION:A portion between a gate and a cathode of a thyristor 10 for controlling ignition is maintained under a short circuit condition by means of a switching transistor 18 for a fixed period regardless of the change of the speed of revolution of an engine from a crank-angle location in some reference such as a peak point of time of the charging voltage of a condenser 5 for charge. Meanwhile, the generating time of ignition signal voltage generated by means of a generating coil 3 approaches to the reference crank-angle location direction with the increase of the speed of revolution of the engine, and the generating time of ignition signal voltage reaches during a fixed period maintained under a short circuit condition of the thyristor 10 for controlling ignition when the revolution of the engine exceeds its normal revolution range, thus forming an angle of lead of ignition timing.
